It's very simple to repair, the hardest part (if i remember, its been a while) was trying to get my actual hand into the hole to get to the bulb itself.
Otherwise you remove the coin holder assembly and some plastic piece around the parking brake release lever. You remove the nut thats just behind it (you have to look directly up into the parking level, and hold the lever out while unscrewing the 10mm there)
It uses a "74" bulb if i recall.
EDIT: So i just went out and did it myself (the bulb i got was too long and it poped out so wanted to fix it but was too lazy)
Anyway i was almost right. There's two 10mm hex screws behind the parking brake release that keep the coin tray in place. The mirror/sonar panel also needs to come out (use a plastic claw to not damage the panels) before the coin holder. And finally the coin holder itself will come out.
There should be one wire thats leading into a little hump on one corner. I jiggled and twisted it out. It should pop out pretty easy. It was a 74 but somehow the LED i put in there was completely gone....
