Default Indy dealer explains why the LS430 may be the best daily driver bargain ...

Dealer discussing his assessment of the car and current values; Values discussed at 12 min 52 sec with a few miles (over 100,000 and up to maybe 200), and at 5 min 50 sec and at 6 min 50 sec with low miles (below 100,000)

However, I can't understand the premium these cars command. Regardless of how reliable these cars are they are still 15 years old. Who would pay such a large premium for a low mileage example. It's only worth a premium to some with low miles. Once you put any kind of mileage on the car at all it turns into just another LS430 like the 1000+ for sale already. To me paying $20-25k for one of these seems like a quick way to loose a $15k+ in a matter of months depending on how much you drive. The premium low mileage LS430's have to be one of the fastest depreciating 15 year old cars out there once you start putting mileage on them. These are not collector cars, they are a mass produced 15 year old sedan. So strange to me.
Apparently, according to a person who buys and sells cars for a living (as can be heard at the times noted for the video), your statement seems to be right on the money..... But, what a wonderful bargain to be had in today's market for what is still a great car! The best time ever to buy an LS 430!

What a wonderful conversation with yourself to help justify your odd, almost obsessive, butthurt over low mileage LS430 prices.

Meanwhile, people will still pay premium money for a premium example of any car, including the LS430. Nothing new. Been that way forever. Will stay that way, forever.

Deal with it.
