Its a 2005 with the base interior (Premium Package?)
82,000 Miles
Paid a bit over $10,000 - exterior paint is great, interior is great as well. Clearly the tires' finish is toast, so I will get them powdercoated in the coming weeks!
I have an 04 LS and the minor differences are sort of funny - but great shape, Florida Snowbird car - had 3 owners I believe.
So here is my current punch list:
-LEDs for interior
-LED's under mirror
-Hood and Trunk Struts
-Double Din Head unit - probably Pioneer AVIC
-HIDs for headlights
The timing belt is an unknown, so I'm going to try and contact its service history shops from carfax. Usually owners keep up with recommendations :-)
I cannot really afford to collect anything, but if I were to be one of those eccentric collectors, I would have:
-my current 2004 which has low mileage, Chrystal White Pearl on Cashmere, Modern Luxury Package. 17's, no chrome.
-(1) 2001-2003 Mystic Sea Opalescent, which I had previously and was only available in those years, with the grayish marble-looking accents, and Ecru interior, stripped down on features. No nav, 16's, the basic.
-(1) 2006, the final year, maxed! 18's Eurosport, Ultra Luxury, everything.
Nice job on the 2005. Put the timing belt at the top of your list if you cannot find proof. Those wheels look like they have seen some salt, so have the under-belly looked at for sure.
Congratulations! Sounds like a good purchase. You have headlight washers too.
This Wheel looks pretty beaten up though.
Yes! the surface looks good and smooth - but something roached the wheel paint! - maybe it was covered in DIP etc? Clearly the tires' finish is toast, so I will get them powdercoated in the coming weeks!
I am looking for something similar. So far, I haven't found much.
Ideally looking for a snowbird car under 100,000 miles.
Any advice on where to look. Criagslist? Facebook?
Mine was at a Chrysler Dealer in the Dakotas. The web algorithms will help you find cars lol - my FB feed had LS430s all over them. LOTS of these cars in FL. The dealer shuttled it from SD down to Iowa to get it close for me. Cars.com I believe had this one.
Dealers are a good source- online searchable inventory from the mega car search sites. Also these are not in demand so they are an odd car to have to sell off.
