The cleaning has to be done while the engine is running around 1000rpm or so aiming to have the enough negative pressure and also to prevent a hard engine starting after the cleaning.

These 2 bigger holes are connected to 4 injectors each to provide air for the smooth engine running and the better gas mileage. It would be better to use some compressed air to clean thoroughly.
i have cleaned them but not like the way you described , i cleaned properly tb butterfly from inside outside and edges but for holes i sprayed a little bit of carbon cleaner but didn't know that they are very important and didn't find the way to clean them properly cuz they are very small and thought that running a can of seafoam spray is enough i will try to clean them again and will get back to you

Thanks everybody for help

This post is about an LS400 but I'm sure it's worth reading.

The poster MngreLMatt did it when the engine was not running and he had a hard time to start the engine after the cleaning since the cylinders were full of remained carbon cleaner.

I was curious about this Yamae. I remember cleaning the air mix passages on my 400 but when I got my 430 the aforementioned method did not work the same. The car wouldn't run when the plate was removed. IIRC the air mix path of a 430 is slightly different than that of a 400. Maybe someone can verify...?

Yes, those 2 are quite long as are shown here although the drawing is from a JDM Celsior UCF20/21 manual. UCF30/31 are mostly the same.
This is the side view of the lower part of injector. The air coming from the throttle body via holes reaches to injector's air passages. When this portion is clogged, the engine idles roughly. It is not quite easy to clean this portion and depending on the blockage level we need to clean professionally removing injectors.

I had my intake off fairly recently (relatively speaking as I've only had my car since January) and made sure to blast them very heavily. If you use carb cleaner when the engine is off make sure to disconnect ALL your injectors and start the car off the cleaner first or you will have way too much fluid in the bores and run the risk of flooding it out and loosing compression temporarily. Don't be alarmed if it runs for a few seconds, just let it shut back off and then reset the 13 or so codes and plug your injectors back in.

Btw I hate knock sensors lol!
