Tilt wheel ECU replacement anyone?
I just replaced the fuse in my 2005, LS430, that has been out for at least 7 years. Wheel will retract automatically when powered off, but will not return to set position when powered back on, but will move via the adjustment ****. The tilt does not function at all, with no signs of motor strain. Before I start changing out motors, I thought I might start with the ECU. Has anyone replaced theirs? What were the symptoms? When I pulled the fuse, the wheel was moving erratically, and when it got in a favorable spot, I pulled it.

I just replaced the tilt motor, got a new one from E-Bay for $227 + shipping. It took me a whole 25 minutes to remove the old one, and install the new one. A real piece of cake. Now it works just like new, retracts and tilts up when key turned off, and lowers and extends when key is turned on. Works with saved memory locations.
