Question rear fuel pipe removal

I have a ls430 2003 my rear fuel pipe hose burst, I've disconnected the rear fuel pipe from the engine except for there seems to be a clip in the back of the engine preventing me from removing the pipe. Looking at lowering the rear of the engine or removing the top of the intake manifold to gain access is there an easier way?

Here is a picture of the bolt if you haven't seen it already. I've never had to do this job but I do know there isn't much room to work or see what's going on. Maybe with a picture you will know what to feel for.

That is a really strange failure, is it the metal or rubber part that failed?
