Does anyone know a way to disable the auto door unlock feature when you get close to the car with the Smart Key?

Well I should explain more ... I have an aftermarket alarm system.
When its armed and I walk by the vehicle with the fobs in my pocket, it will "trigger" the alarm to go off.
That's even without me touching the door handle or anything.
What I want to accomplish is disabling the smart key sensing when approaching but I don't want to lose the ability to keep the fob in my pocket to start the vehicle.

you should be able to do that if you have a techstream. i havent looked in a while but do remember seeing a menu relating to smart key functions

 

I did mine with Techstream. Bought it on ebay for like $20, its worth every penny
