Default Daizen Steering Rack Bushing install issues

I am installing my exciting new steering rack bushings and I have run into a problem.

I can zip off the large nuts holding the rack just fine, and the passenger side can be easily moved away from the frame crossmember. However, the drivers side will not budge at all even with the nut off and using a small prybar.

Also, I attempted to get the studs out (I believe they are reverse thread, please hit me over the head if I am wrong) and they just spin a little and stop.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

When I did mines, I don't think its reverse. Use wd40 if it's rusted.

I spent 10 minutes trying to loosen the studs out the reverse way. It took 30 seconds to back them out the correct way.

I have no idea who first said they are reverse threaded, but they aren't. I did mine 6 months ago in no time, did use some pb-blaster/wd40 and a couple large flat heads.

Good luck!

Guess I should stop hammering on them with my impact then! Good thing is I never really trusted the guy who said it, so I kind of went back and forth with the impact.
