I like that. I’ve actually been considering one so I don’t have to take my truck every time I transport my bike.

Only thing that would stop me is wind noise. How’s it in that regard?

Mixed reviews as far as appearance? Not too many racks enhance a vehicle's looks. If you truly need it and use it, appearance shouldn't much matter. Besides, the saddle interior (if that is what it is) makes up for just about anything!

Looks good, I could use one of those I can only get like 3 pairs of fat skis in the pass thru. Lets see some surf boards on that baby at the beach surrounded by sun goddesses!

they are yakima racks and i bought them online at the yakima website. they have a configurator tool on the site. you can pick and choose the rack system you want.

Looking at the Yakima site, I see "For vehicles with (1) fixed points or tracks; (2) flush-mounted side rails; or (3) naked roofs. I don't understand the lingo. What does my 2003 LS430 have?

Do you happen to remember which model you purchased?

How much time does it take to put the rack on? Remove it? To avoid the wind noise when I'm not using the rack, I would like to leave it off until I need to transport kayaks or something.

Thanks for your advice! - Hoytster
