they are twin tube system - priced around 800 bucks.
Spring rates are a little odd 14k/8k front and rear.
Any opinions will be appreciated, especially by flex z users.
These are nice struts. I have them already for 2 months I believe, can’t be more happy. Spring rates have higher numbers due to high lever ration of the suspension. The similar rates were previously attributed to “drift” and “drag” Toyota cars, like Chaser, Supra, MarkII, and Soarer.
Two things to consider when installing these - you may get decent comfort if you find a perfect damper softness setting, and if you “reset” suspension bushings to a new ground clearance after putting them in.
The twin tube damper slightly eliminates previously noticeable shaking over bumps, but the higher spring rate WILL cause additional movement of suspensions. Which, if tuned, will only be cooler to feel compared to regular suspension.
I am looking for a set for myself too....OP what year is your car ? Mine is 01. Please shoot a few pics when your installing the rear ...I heard theyre PITA

they just came in the mail today. so far the assembly is pretty good. the coilover is pretty heavy. I am pretty disappointed in the packaging. They are not individually wrapped, just boxed up with some cardboard dividers.
im not skilled enough to install them myself. I can see if the mechanic is willing to take pictures

Now another question just pops up in my mind , do we have to change the Sway Bar Endlinks to the shorter one since we are changing the height of the car ? I had to do it on my bimmer and this is why I'm asking .
Neither the sway bar links nor the install is not required/difficult. Just make sure you deattach the right right trailer arm in order to swap the coils through the available area. The rear do not require to remove ball joint connections, however, the front ones will. The job is easy unless your arms get tired of coil overs weight, because they are really heavy - which is good at the end of the day means more solid production standards, and quality is inside all the way!
