2004 Lexus LS 430 Map DVD reads on-screen (after selecting preferred language) Route could not be found. What needs to occur to rid this message?

 

What happened before this message started to come up did you replace the old map cd for a more updated version or out of the blue this started to happen need more detail

 

Hello, it just appeared. Never since owning it have I done anything with the Navigation unit.

 

I’m not sure if these steps will help but it doesn’t hurt to try first un plug the battery so remove the black negative first than the red positive wires give it 10 -15 min than connect the positive + wire first than connect the negative - wire see if that changed anything if not maybe try to remove the nav cd in the trunk remove the bottom covers than insert the cd back in again I’m not sure if these steps will help
