Inside cabin air filters. for 2004 LS430
Can anyone suggest a good source for the cabin filters inside the car? The one in behind the glove box is easy to find at a reasonable price, but the one for the rear a/c in the trunk is not stocked at any Lexus dealer in the state of WA. There are also some small ones underneath each seat, that are also not stocked at any dealer. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I did talk with the parts people and they can order them, but they can give no estimation as to how long it will take, and they just seem not to be too pleased to have to look up part numbers the customer does not know and their attitude, it seems, is one of lack of interest. The price quoted for the rear A/C filter was $191. Is that about what it sells everywhere? How often should this filter be changed? I just got this car and it is in great shape for its age. It only has 92K miles on it and looks as tho it has been very well taken care of. It has not had the timing belt changed yet so I know that is on the list to do asap. This car replaces my MB S430, which I am selling soon. I have a lot to learn about this Lexus so maybe those of you that have or have had a lot of experience with LS 430 can give me some tips on what to look for and tips that are not in the owner's manual.

Here's the correct interior air filter:

Beware of cheaper ones, there is another one with less fins that doesn't work as well as the OEM.

Thank each of you for your quick and helpful responses. It is great to have people out there who are knowledgable and willing to take some time to help out. At this point, I am still going thru the user's manual to see what I need to keep this thing in great shape. I am getting to like it more than the Mercedes S430. Thanks again and I am sure I will be asking for more help in the near future.
No walk through, but they are below the little drawers under the seats. I just did this an hour ago. Make sure you turn off the blowers first. You can’t see them, but you cam feel them. (Ribbed fiber, no cover.) Remove the drawers for better access. They are very close to the floor slightly behind the drawers. About 1.5 by 4”, with a outer plastic clip on each end. Loosen the clips from the top and pop the filter down to remove. There is a picture in the poorly indexed owner’s manual.
Here is a picture of the filters from eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/331973046454.
I ordered some new ones but vacuumed out the old ones in the mean time.
