I have a PO 430 code popping up and no discernable leaks in the y pipe. I have replaced the catalytic converter recently so I wouldn't think that's the issue.
I ran a test and the TID $01 CID $02 rich to lean sensor threshold voltage ( constant )
Max128
Current 178
My assumption is the O2 upstream bank two 02 sensor passenger side is failing? Its the only O2 sensor I have not replaced so its the original with 200K on the car.
I just finished replacing the upper O2 sensor and I have to say I don't want to mess with that again. It was not fun unplugging and replugging the O2 plug.
there was a constant avalanche of oil and dirt mix and my fingers were taxed to the limit getting the plug to reconnect.
When a sensor needs to be replaced replace them all. I have now replaced the Cats and the O2 sensors and all the coils. hopefully I am in store for some problem free driving.
On a recent trip I had 4 coils go bad in one day. I had only purchased them off Ebay the month before. I kept stopping at Napa stores and installing 3 coils till finally after paying way to much for non name brand coils I drove home one coil down.
I then ordered Denso coils from rock auto for $54 since I didnt want counterfeit like the lexus Toyota coils I bought which didnt work on Ebay.
I used the Denso, since I dislike that job It has to work for a long time. I have had great results with genuine Denso. Counterfeit Denso on Ebay didnt work out of the box.
It looked exactly like the one that came out of the car so my hope is its the same as the OEM.
These coils on Ebay are fakes and didnt work for me.
