And can I really be sure that the electrical system never errors when you just tap electricity from another fuse like that?
There is so much electronics in that car. It almost makes me scarred.

Am 90% sure we have the micro size in our cars. Just stay away from the computers when you tap in. Even then, only thing you are doing is changing a fuse. The fuse tap is the right way to do the job. Far less likely to have problems months or years down the road vs. through the firewall. The wiring you add is fused at the power source, that's key when wiring is added on to a car.
When I see extra wiring under hood on a car I am considering it is a red flag to look more deeply at the car. Usually the worst kind of car repair is fixing what others have done to the car.

Like a Webasto pre heater.... I disconnected it but still my car smells like fuel sometimes when I stand outside with no running engine.
I began what has quickly became a nightmare of a job which is putting in an aftermarket stereo in my 2004 LS430. I'm wondering if the boot I'm pointing to in the picture is where the power can go through? For reference this is right next to the bottom of the battery tray on the passenger side firewall.
Thanks
What cable size you have managed to push through that small nipple? According to my current plans, I should get a 53mm2 cable through it.
To be honest I just cut a slit in the whole rubber part. I didn't put much thought into it because I just wanted to get the job over with.. But I reckon you could fit that size cable through the nipple.
Yes of course hole must be smaller but I just speculate can I even put 53mm2 cable through that place because it's look somehow a little small for cable that size.
By asking in advance I'm just trying to avoid a complete failure if I fail to get that 53mm2 cable through that nipple. I haven't bought any stereo equipment and wires yet. hhhmmm... maybe I can go to caraudio store and ask a short piece of cable and try.
Now I can confirm that if someone wants to put power cable through that nipple without breaking it 4AWG (22mm2) is the thickest cable to go through there. I had to lubricate cable with silicone and use quite a bit of force to get through it.
