Until yesterday I never examined the car cover that came with the purchase of my LS 430 in January 2018. Wow - what a fine accessory! The fit is superb plus it sports "Lexus" on the front, has pocket extensions for both mirrors and the roof antenna, and has a clear plastic section just large enough to show the rear license plate. It truly is a quality item. It is most unfortunate that it has been discontinued although perhaps a few dealers still have one in stock.

 

Sounds pretty similar to the brand that Subaru used / uses as well. I have a pair and they are indeed awesome.

 

I had a 1992 SC400 that I drove to work every day and used a Lexus cover on it (previous to that I had an 82 Toyota Supra that I had covered with a Toyota cover) and it was a perfect fit with long life. Covering a LS430 should only be covered with a Lexus coven in my opinion. Haven't had the need to cover my LS430 as I've been retired since I first purchased it and garage it and don't need a cover.

 

Any idea what they cost when available at the Lexus dealer?

No, I do not know what its original price may have been. Would guess $200 or so.
