Default Introducing myself to the Ls thread

I posted in a few threads but noticed others doing it officially with a new thread. I am not new to Lexus as my first vehicle was a 2008 is250. Since then been through a myriad of other vehicles including the VW Phaeton 7 series, etc. Now I have a 2010 Lexus rx450h and just purchased a 2002 Lexus Ls430.

It is a 2002 Black exterior with beige interior
170k ML with nav. I did purchase and waiting for the 9" android screen.
I paid $1800 in March 2019 from a private party. When I purchased it was not running. (Big gamble, I know). was told it needed an alternator but needed a tune up. Appears someone had tried to get It started by pumping gas pedal.
Small piece of oxidation on front hood. Interior driver seat has a few peeling issues but no holes.
Was well taken care of, not every record but majority...about 80%
Repairs were brake master cylinder, screws were missing on the front driver window but replaced regulator and motor and used silicone spray to speed up windows. Just waiting for the new radio unit!
Thinking about replacing steering wheel since it has some wear on it.

Mods: led tail lights, flashing high mount stop, interior led lights.

Congrats man, looks nice. Looks well cared for on the outside and you got a steal for it. Some interior picks would be nice. Welcome to the LS club!

I thought about that afterwards. I was waiting for the arrival of my new mats but looks like I ordered and it was a sham. Delierion was the name of the company on Facebook and had ads everywhere. After ordering the site and everything disappeared! Lol.

excuse the car seats!

What a steal you got. Don't think I saw that one posted anywhere. Nice upgrades already also. Welcome to the LS side of the forum. You're off to a great start at that price.

Congrats!

Look at how you are able to put 2 car seats in, and the driver seat is reasonably far back. You can't do it all cars...

Awesome! I love good deals that work out. Can you post a link to those tail lights? Maybe I'll put them on my Christmas wish list.
