disagree with this about the LS430

I just think that this one sort of exaggerates the way he always is...but this time, he goes after a Toyota product, and of all ones to go after, the LS430, which was known to be pretty bulletproof, because he feels what he does about V8's...just comical. Maybe Toyota was late with their free products this time and he wanted to remind them....

Yeah, the LS430 certainly received "mixed reviews". Mixed between fantastic and awesome. I don't ever remember reading a review for the 430 that was anything less than overwhelming positive. What an idiot.

I've watched a handful of this guy's video but after I watched one where he basically had some guy review a Lexus ISx50..which resembled a cheap Lexus promo....i stopped watching it. I now find him annoying with clickbait type videos and just avoid him all together and never subscribed to his channel.

well at one point scotty did actually give almost useful advice on how to cheaply fix various things, but i guess he ran out of stuff to fix so now he just seems to mostly upload these q&a sessions lol... but if there's any one video that first gave him some big attention it was probably the first of his many why not to buy a mercedes videos
on his saturday morning live thing he once answered my question on whether or not there's truth to the "italian tuneup", to which he said going out and just flooring it a bunch is bad for "the seals and stuff" but going out and driving faster for a bit can absolutely clear out an engine if it's mostly just used for short trips and stuff

Avoid an LS430?!? That makes zero sense.

$6500 of service is recommended, which was pretty discouraging because I had just bought the car. Take it to an indie to see what they recommended, "Nothing." lol (but the thing that gets me is I know Lexus didn't even look, they simply said 11 y.o. car with 81k we'll recommend a,b,c) The indie actually lifted the vehicle, and had me come under the lift, and shined a flashlight showing me that the dealer couldn't possibly have even looked before recommending replacement. My theory is a few years ago, that's why so many of them were available used. Because if the original owner took the car in every 5k, and one day, they are told you need $6,500 worth of work, they dump the vehicle, and get a new one. Dealer makes money on the new car, and even more on the used...

The only way to generate service revenue off of the LS430 is really to follow the dealership's recommendations, and that is that it should come back every 5k. My multipoint inspection said
