Default 01 Lexus LS 430 Horn not working

Hi guys I have a base model 01 LS430 and the horn does not work. Where is the fuse box located and what number is it? Any diagrams would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Will your engine start? Do your headlights work? If not, check out the link below for more information...

Engine starts and headlights work. Although I did have to jump the battery today to get it going. I believe that was because it had been sitting a few days in the cold. Not sure if jumping the battery could have caused the horn to short? Everything else on the car appears to work properly and starts up fine now after the jump.

On a side note, a couple months ago I was viewing code on a check engine light with an OBD2 reader, cleared the code and then had issues with the VSC being disabled. I read about jumping it with a paperclip on this forum to get the VSC to come back on and it worked. Shortly after that the car had a one time electrical anomaly where all the windows, sunroof etc all opened all the way down on their own. I put everything back up and never had that issue since.

I'm wondering if jumping the terminal for the VSC could have shorted something out causing the horn not to work? The car is currently at my independent mechanic and he's looking for the issue, but since he's not a Lexus technician advised me to do some research on my own to cut down on Labour costs as troubleshooting this could take hours and be quite costly.

Appreciate all the help you or anyone else can provide with this issue.

Next thing to check is the 7.5A fuse called "Security" in the driver-side fuse box...

The steering column in 1999-2000 LS400 is almost identical.to.2001-2006 LS430.

Here is how I remedied my intermittant horn issue;

Thanks again for the diagrams, you're an invaluable resource and thanks to your help I was able to direct my mechanic to the source of the problem, which in my case was two blown fuses. The horn and the security fuse were indeed burnt out. Nothing else was required and the Labour charge was very minimal.

Thanks again for your help. This is a great community.

Thanks for the input. Thankfully in my case it wasn't a wiring issue and just a couple blown out fuses.
