Within the last couple of months my radio reception has gone down hill. Driving around town I need to keep changing stations. It used to be much better. Any suggestions would be nice. Thank You
Since the antenna is built into the rear windshield, not much you can do w.r.t. the antenna other than check it's connections.
Also, if you specify what model/year LS you have that might help as there are 2 different audio systems in the 430 and the 460 is different again.
Until I add a Vaistech or other Bluetooth adapter I have been using a Monster brand FM modulator plugged in to the lighter socket in the console.
It really screws up FM reception. I always know when I forget to unplug the darn thing. I have tried several different unused frequencies and same thing with static and poor reception when it is powered up.
I'll add a better BT adapter. So far am leaning to the Vaistech. Just waiting for them to confirm that it also gets rid of the I agree button for the Nav. which is annoying enough that the higher price for the Vaistech unit is worth it. I'll be keeping my LS for a very long time.
