2003 Replace Exhaust Manifold Instructions - Please Post
Is there really enough space to pull out the manifolds without lifting the car? I was under the impression that they wouldn't fit through the space.
How do you access the bolts - directly from below or do you have to use long socket extensions to access them from the back of the engine?
Sorry for many questions just want to make sure I understand and don't waste a lot of time. Do you have photos by any chance?

I was able to access the bolts no problem from underneath the car I did do the header install on a lift though, its just a cramped situation to work in please use a acetlyn torch on each of the studs, brake one off in the block its going to pita to rectify.
The only pics I have are of the headers installed I will post them later and dont apologize the down side of the internet is there is a ton of misinformation.
yes there is more than enough space to pull them out from underneath the car, I have actually done it you need to remove the exhaust there is no way your getting them out without pulling the exhaust off. The stock exhaust is expanded on the ends so it fits into like male/female ends. The rear mufflers over lap the resonator the resonator overlaps the 3rd cat that bolts to the exhaust manifolds, hence why you have to remove the entire exhaust.
