LS430 Air Suspension Recondition
Hi
I am new to this forum, I am looking for a 2005/2006 LS430 UL, I found a car with 208k miles and all 4 shocks are leaking + no timing belt service recorded, is there a way to rebuild these shocks or go aftermarket like accu-air or airlift ?
thanks

No known way to rebuild them but you can go aftermarket air if you choose. Search the forum or better yet search Google and threads will come up for the members that has done it already.
A place in Poland rebuilds them: https://archiwum.allegro.pl/oferta/a...173104892.html
Suncore Industries and RMT Auto Parts are 2 companies that used to rebuild LS430 air shocks, you may be able to find their rebuilt shocks on eBay etc. Take a look at RMT's list at http://www.rebuildmastertech.com/blo...e-parts-cores/ to see which cars have high demand for air shock cores (and what customers are willing to pay, based on the core price they are willing to pay you). Audi, Bentley, Land Rover, Mercedes, Porsche, VW have many model lines and/or higher than average prices. Nothing for Lexus, meaning there is no demand and/or Lexus air shocks don't break.
Arnott scrapped the rebuild idea and instead redesigned the air shocks from scratch for higher reliability than OEM - they commented directly on these forums at https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...l#post10122238
I'm still on all 4 original air shocks, in-service for 16.6 years and 163,000km all in harsh Canadian winters, no signs of any problems yet.

imho the question is how much money do you want to spend to rebuild these shocks. Everything is possible if you have unlimited resources...
