Default Taking my ‘04 into Lexus for service on Wednesday...

Just ticked past 154,000 miles and having skipped quite a few of the recommend services, I decided to have the professionals take care of a few points of emphasis:

Transmission Drain + fill (Should I have them look at the mount or upon inspection will they recommend I change it?)

4 Wheel alignment- (Special for this month $119 + tax 😅, she’s pulling to the left after Tie Rods and Y links done and don’t want to ruin my new tires!!)

Anything else I should have them look at while they’re under there? Rear Differental drain and fill??

Timing belt and water pump done?

The stuff you mentioned above I would have done at Toyota dealer or even independent save some $$.

Timing belt was done at 100,000. Serpentine belt looks a bit worn so might want to get that done at Indy.

You can have them set some different parameters on their Techstream -- like when the headlights turn on, how/which doors lock when if you put the car in drive, turning off auto tilt steering wheel, etc.

The transmission drain and fill at the dealer is actually pretty reasonable. My dealer charged like 9 bucks a quart for their WS fluid and an hour of labor. And no doubt the dealer will take extra care in making the alignment perfect. Definitely have them look at the tranny mount, but if they say it needs to be replaced just order an oem one on ebay and install it yourself -- it's very easy.

How much is the cost for the tranny drain and refill done by dealer if you do not mind sharing? Something keep coming up every weekend, so I keep delaying doing this myself. Maybe I should take a day off from work and do a bunch of these maintenance stuffs before it gets too cold...

Mine charged me 155 for the drain and fill on my 05. I did the flush easily on my '98 LS400 myself, but I was more than happy to pay the dealer to know it was done right on the 'sealed' transmissions the 04-06 have.

Should be a 1/2 hour labor plus fluids to do the pumpkin.
