Default Smartkey not detected

I have two smartkeys, one with my wife and one with me. Whenever my wife opens the car door to get off the car with her smartkey and I drives on, the KEY NOT DETECTED sign appears on the screen. Other than that, no problem with both keys in all other functions.

I placed my smartphone in the same pocket as my key and I thought it interfered with the smartkey. So, I took out the key and placed elsewhere in the car but no change. I replaced the battery of my smartkey, no change. I swop my smartkey with my wife, also no change.

I have searched this forum but cannot detect anyone else has the same problem. Can anyone advice what the problem is?

Most likely it's because the car's Immobilization system is still paired with your wife's Smartkey after she gets out of the car. Have you tried asking her to turn off the car before she gets out, then you get in and re-start the car (with pairing your Smartkey with the Immobilization system this time)?

I drive and drop her off at work using my own smartkey. She only holds the other key as a spare. I have also driven with her key and the key not detected sign still appears when she gets off with my key.
