Anyone remove their rag top?
Anything is possible with the right amount of $$, not many were made that way. I bet you could remove it but its hard to tell what is underneath. Those ragtops encourage rust. Im sure there would at least be adhesive that needs to be removed but I would bet a full respray of the roof would be required once you remove it.
Had no idea these came with ragtops as an option. Any pictures? Same as the post before, it will likely have an adhesive underneath and some surface rust. All that being said it would likely require repainting.
They didn't actually come with these from the factory the dealer added them on request or to make a "special edition". My south Florida dealer did and called them the "premier edition". I have seen two on the road. Here is an example of one for sale...

I saw one for sale online, and I told a millenial coworker, this is the car I'm getting. He said oh, it's nice. I know what he was really thinking lol
What's underneath? Has to have some padding? I dunno, I'd leave it. It's not for me, no, but it is unique. what the heck? What would be kinda cool too is seeing how it goes around the moonroof, and what about drip rails, are they factory?
p.s. I'm not trying to be funny, I would never get it, but if it were there, I might just leave it alone due to the uniqueness.
