Would it be possible to replace the driver's and from passenger seats with maybe a GS350 seat? I want a grippier seat so I don't slide around as much, and have it look and retain OEM quality. Or... Would it be cheaper to get the seats bolstered by a specialty shop?

 

I was going to put a set of sparco racing seats in my car bought everything and then decided against it. You will need seat, sliders, hardware to attach sliders to seat custom seat brackets around $200-$300 a side for them they are the thing you mount your sliders on. You could also go a fixed position such as these side mounts. These would make it so you are in a fixed position with 0 seat adjustment once installed. If you have any questions just pm me. Also your airbag light will be on disabling your airbags.

 

i thought the same thing with seat swap. but i thought the LS seats were wider (but i could be wrong).

 

Sliding around? How hard are you driving your car?

There really aren't any options. Even Bride Japan doesn't make a single bracket or seat rail for the LS430/Celsior. For another Lexus seat to fit, you're going to have to measure the mounting points and see if they are the same which is doubtful.

 

Not that hard, but if I take a turn at 20-25 mph the car leans pretty hard. I'm planning on buying a set of thicker sway bars to combat that
