new car
Does it have to be a Lexus (assuming bulletproof reliability)? Because a 2 y.o. 460 seems like the budget is pretty decent.
Because this topic was kicked around on the chat forum, I did some research and feel that a 2015 S550 for $60k as a CPO, would be worth it. The costs are going to be much higher than a LS460, but the experience will be different. New is steep, of course, but used is worth it imho. The car I was looking at had only 21k for $60k, CPO and Calif. car. Otherwise, I highly doubt you could go wrong with a LS460 that new--it will come down to price and equipment. Everyone says '13+, and you're already there....good luck!

A 460 would be a good choice if it's within budget. I would not go down to a ES350 but that's just me. I hear the newer GS 350s are good too. Now I would consider the S550 with a warranty if money is not an issue.
Maybe drive a M37 or M56? I drove a 460 but did not go crazy over it. Drive a cayenne TDI after the fix, huge warrantee or A7 A8 tdi post fix same good warrantee. Warrantee covers alot of things for 10 120 I think. Just tossing out ideas 420 lbs of torque is fun the fix really did not effect much or make much difference over pre fix.
The new Elantra isn't bad...
Then you'd have money left over
All kidding aside, I would consider a 460, if you really want to get rid of the 430, but if you step down to a GS or ES, you'll immediately feel cramped in one of those 2 cars...
Personally, I'm kicking around the idea of picking up a Stinger. I was surprised with the interior room in that car. Plus the warranty is hard to beat...
