Actually, it is fairly priced and a good deal if it is as nice as it appears in the photos. And, given the mileage, it may well be.
It is somewhat unsettling though that the ad does not include its VIN or a link to Carfax or Autocheck.

Yeah, think about the amount of car you get for less than 18K with it basically being in new condition. No, the price is not too high. VIN is in the ad now...

I’m also somewhat concerned that with the strong selling point of the very low miles there is not an automatic link to the car fax! What seller would exclude that? Also I noticed the headlights looking dull if this car was garaged it’s entire life.

This car is a scam its had body work done the headlights look as if they have been battered by the suns uv rays for years, it has a private sale listed so it was traded in and sent to auction is what it sounds like.
Yah the car has low miles but it sat and sat and sat so stuff was not lubricated that should be car probably needs most of the gaskets in the engine bay redone, there is way more to this car than meets the eye.

I only looked briefly at the pictures, but where do you see evidence of body work?

Having now run it both through Carfax and the Lexus website, its biggest issue appears to be that it is being misrepresented as a one owner car when it, in fact, has had 2 owners. It has always lived in DC. The only documentation of body repair is that the rear bumper cover was replaced when it was quite young. Service has been pretty religious and always at Lexus stores. The chrome wheels were apparently added by the second owner soon after its 2015 acquisition. The timing belt was replaced at 12586 miles in 2012 - perhaps the lowest such mileage replacement ever!
If it was a one owner car, I would pursue it myself. Carfax pegged its value at $17,500. The dealer wants a $495 doc fee on top of their $17,700 price.

I"ve come to realize that the car business is very something.
Things are not omitted for no reason. I like to see pics of the brake reservoir, to see what color the fluid is (it is often black), and also if there is a timing belt sticker.
That guy nick who did the youtube on the timing belt job, he bought a car where they actually pinched off the tube from the coolant reservoir to the radiator, to hide that the head gaskets were blown. Yes, in the car business, many many tricks! So when nick checked the reservoir, nice fresh coolant.
Anyway, you put 47 pics of a car online, did you just happen to forget the engine under the hood? Pretty doubtful. Car photographers have a checklist but ultimately the seller would instruct them.

None of that would distract me from pursuing it. Those aren't problems that are going to prevent it from seeing 200K on the odometer. Still a fantastic car for the money.
Just think you can buy a brand new Mitsubishi Mirage or Kia Rio for a couple grand less than this thing!

Maybe it is just me but I am not seeing the appeal for this ultra low miles. We are talking about mass produced LS430, not some limited produced LFA. For $18K, I bet I can have more fun with two $9K LS430 with higher miles.
