Oh and guess what I discovered when I came home from the car wash. One decal is missing and one is about to come off

That was my favorite 16” wheel style, good job. I went with the same Pirelli P7 AS plus tires as well on my 17’s and much smoother riding tire. It looks fine with the 16’s. Only crazy people on the forums would know the difference.

I wanna know. How much did they cost unfinished and how much did they cost to refinish? Also, did you replace 18"s or 17"s and what tire was on before?

I replaced the factory chrome 18s with these 16s.
These original 16” wheels with gold Lexus emblem on the center cap cost me $250.
$500 to refurbish all four wheels with center cap.
Unfortunately, there’s been some miscommunication as they painted over the metallic center caps and painted the L gold. I’m not happy. And yesterday one of the Ls came off in the car wash.

I’m debating whether to order all new metal center caps. trying to get hold of the car wash to see if they found the L from the front passenger wheel. if they haven’t I don’t know what to do

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate all the pics.

I'm going to find me some of those and put them on my 04 silver daily driver 430. MB used a similar design on their mid 2000s S600. Looks very upscale. Understated, but beautiful.

I like the 16" wheels.

On a related topic, would these (link above) steel wheels fit my 04 LS 430 with 17" wheels? I have 4 Blizzak that I mount for the winter. The specs match except 43mm offet vs 45mm offset on the factory.

Would that 2 mm offset cause issues?

Where would you order new center caps from? Would you try to get them OEM or look for aftermarket?

Get a scale. Put the center cap on one side. Put pieces of gold on the other until equal weight.
