Adding self close door option?
I have a 2005 ls430 modern luxery and I love how you lower the trunk and it closes itself so you do not have worry about slamming. I would like to do the same thing with my doors.
Is the wiring in the door the same for every ls430 and they just leave out the door closer actuator or how does it work. I would love to have all 4 of my doors so I could close them quietly.

You were absolutely correct I have the modern luxury package my mistake, but back to my original question can I install the self closing motors?

I looked on eBay and saw a number of listings for the soft-close door actuators with all the necessary cables intact. The problem is the other end of the cable - the ECU will need to be replaced as well. For example, the driver-side front door without soft-close actuator will use 89223-50220 ECU, while the one with soft-close will use 89223-50210.
Yes, you can, BUT...you will also have to replace the door ECU.
