Look up Eaton M90 supercharger and 3UZ-FE. That'll give you some info about adding some small power to the LS430.

Yes but you still need ecu, injectors, fuel pump, intake manifold adaptor plate, assorted fuel lines, intercooler piping recirculation valve, wastegate. My friend supercharged his ls430 and used the toyota trd supercharger and spent about $10,000 give or take to do it.

You are not going to brake 400hp on stock internals FIG's engineering has a stroked supercharhed 3uz motor and it makes like 380-390 hp.

I never said you can break 400 whp with that setup. I said, 'adding some small power to the LS430.'

My mechanic supercharged his LS430 with an M90 supercharger on stock internals, RX-8 fuel injectors, midplate, intake manifold from a 2UZ-FE, running on 7 PSI, headers, and catback exhaust. He also daily the car. TRD superchargers are made by Eaton. He's comfortably making around 350-375 whp with that setup. All of this cost him about $1000 in parts.

First of all, I don't need to prove anything to you.

The original poster asked a question. I am here giving him some info to look into that might help his situation; I'm here to respond to his query. That is it. I'm not here to argue with anyone about anything.

I saw where someone had put a GM LS3 in an LS430 and also switched it over to a manual trans. I have no idea on cost but from the $$ amounts that are being mentioned here I would think it could be done for the same ball park....again I don't know about that. What I do know is if you were able to get a LS3 in there then you'll have way more parts work with and it doesn't take all that much to get it to have serious HP. Besides it sounds super mean and you would get plenty of attention with it.

Here you go.....this is what I would do.

The motor mounts for the gs and sc from sikky would work in the ls I was going to go this route and had everything priced out just for the parts you are looking at around $6500-$10,000 depending on what motor you get lq9 ls1 ls3 etc... You are absolutely correct by the way the cost of an ls swap is the same as boosting a uz motor and it has way more aftermarket support.

why would you need an adapter for a centrifugal?

Did/does he use any kind of engine management? Obviously, he sourced and bought good deals, but on stock? Everything I hear sounds like if you wink at the engine wrong it's time for an explosion. It's been a while since this post, and I hope you're still around. But, has your guy ever complained or had any issues? Would you know?

If you want power a 3uz is not a cost effective option. It would literally be cheaper to swap in an LS7 or LS1/3/6/2 for power, if you want to remain with a stockish setup then use a 1uz block and forced induction
