So it's driving me crazy. This just started, I am driving down the road and the music stops playing on all speakers. The driver side speaker stops then it comes back then the sound moves through out the rest of the speakers it doesn't always happen just every once in a while. I don't know what to do. 06 ls430

Possible pending probable Mark levinson amp failure in the works...

Do you have Mark levinson or pioneer system installed? How do you evaluate the overall sound quality? Do you feel the quality is reasonably bad to start looking at audio components?

Due to the fact that front speakers are very easy to replace through DIY method, I suggest to do them first to see if the problem was impedance issue (causing amp to overheat and turn off the audio). If overall audio quality is good enough, but your audio turns off if you increase volume, I suggest to repair amp.

In all honesty I have a 98 gs400 and I believe has a better factory system. The ls430 has a 12 sub plus two extra speakers with seperate amps powering them and I think quality should sound way better and it doesn't I do have ML and from what I've heard it should be pretty top of the line stuff I've never been in another ls430 so It's difficult to compare. Sometimes depending on the day I put the volume on 18-20 to be able to listen to music at a regular volume. No I am not old lol I'm 27 with perfect hearing.
