Once again I'm in the market for a 430 and on the face of it this one seems nice in the photos. The concern that I have is the (clearly aftermarket?) headlights although they do look a bit familiar. Can any of the experts here throw any light on these lights?

Any input would be appreciated.

 

There made by central pine, i would avoid ordering anything from them theres a good chance you won't get your order.

They are not made by central pine. CP is a middle man supplier for items sourced out of Japan often from auctions which you could also use yourself. I won't blast my opinion about them but a prior post is fair if you dig up other's experience. Anyway these headlights are just replica projectors retrofitted into the ls430 housing. The output and cutoff are wack but at the same time the 04-06 ls430 projector is damn near incomparable. Acura TL and Honda S2000 were close favorites for the ls430 retrofit. These pictured are not going to be as functional so for anyone who appreciates high quality hid bulbs, projector, lense, output, and cutoff you will not like these... ... but they look dope parked and not in use.

try finding pictures of an ls430 with these on at night showing the cutoff... if you actually do... compare it to an oem 04-06 night shot. Then lookup the Tl or S2000 retrofits.... I almost pulled the plug on a set from CP a year ago... I paid for them... I requested a full refund once CP got them in from Japan. I got my refund lol.

those are ls600 retrofit headlights. central pine does do its own retrofits

 

Thanks. Do you mean that they appear to be genuine LS600s retrofitted? What distinguishes them visually from, say, CP copies?

 

Not to dig up and old thread, but those are legit LS600 projectors and retrofits. I just scored some LS600 projectors and I’m about to do this retrofit as well.
