Is my air compressor working?
Very stoked to be the proud new owner of a lovely 2001 LS430 UL. I purchased from the original owner at 164,000 miles for $2,400. The car is in beautiful condition. It does have a problem with the air suspension however. The front of the car is far too low and tires rub when turning. I don't ever hear any air compressor cycling on. I would imagine the compressor is designed to be very quiet but before I go through the trouble of converting to standard struts and springs i'd like more certainty that my compressor is actually working. I have checked the fuses and relay associated with the air system and they all appear good. Can anyone tell me how i might verify that my compressor is turning on? It would be great if the problem could be resolve by re plugging a blown hose or loose wiring. Wishful thinking maybe...

Many end up converting the air suspension after failure.
