Help locating a lower rear seat.
My kiddo scratched and ripped my back rear seat. I contacted my interior guy and the cost to repair just the section with the rip is $280. I then looked on eBay and found a rear seat for $220 shipped but it's the wrong color. It is tan but I'm looking for an Ash colored seat. I found nothing on Craigslist locally. I don't want to spend $280 just to fix the ripped section and then still have the rest of the seat scratched. If I'm going to spend that kind of money I would prefer to replace the whole seat so I can get rid of the scratches as well.
Anyone know of a place that I could find a lower rear seat?

Check the vin plate on the drivers side for this color plate. It will help you get the color you are after not an expensive close color.
The color on this plate is LH05.
I am after an LK03 and since LK04 is tan close but not my color
my color is ecru and looks similar to this with more white in it. so I am not going to order this seat below. You also have to make sure if the seat you are buying is compatible with the movable if you have a bench. I don't know if they will bolt into place.
I am thinking that the repair you found might not be a bad idea for me? since my search for a bench has been challenging.
It might be helpful if you posted a picture of the damage and the color of the seat? maybe there is a solution not known yet. I have been looking at seats for a while now so maybe I have seen it without knowing what color ash looks like I can't search my memory.

My color is definitely Ash. My interior guy confirmed that. He also had to match up the perforation holes in the seat since there are 3 different versions of that.
Since the panel is going to have to be replaced anyway, I'm think I might use a little super glue to help keep the rip from getting any worse and then keep an eye out for a seat in the right color. If I don't find one in good shape before too long I'll look at having it replaced. What bites is that my first LS that I had which was totaled by a hail storm had a perfectly good rear seat in the correct color. I wish I could find out where it ended up.
