Bad news it won't work so yah I took like a $400 something loss the guy I bought it from said he was a licensed beatsonic retailer but he was not and now I have no idea what to do with this kit.

See if you can sell it in Canada where a Celsior might be legal for import?
OUCH man thats rough, I got my kit off ebay from CarID. I just did a full install with a Pioneer carplay unit and backup retrofit. If you get a different unit I can help you if you have issues with the install.
