I just believe the entire reverse blinker housing is smoked that's it and there like $2500. I have not bought them I didn't know if anyone else had purchased them and installed them on there car that's why I am asking haha.

Why would you pay $2500? I paid $250 or less for my LED taillights. You could have custom tails probably made for under 1k with acrylic lightbars.

I would because i can and what led taillights are you referring to? Also I am assuming you have a 01-03 ls430 since you said you purchased led tails for it?
I also have no idea if I am even gonna do it i was asking because I did not know if someone had any inside knowledge or purchased the taillights before and if the only thing that was different was the smoked lens housing.

CentralPine sometimes has the ls430 tails on the instagram pages modded, they pop up pretty often for way less than that price, I'd say around 1k. There are also people who you could have mod them, they aren't any more complicated than any other light. Not sure what year you have but in fact as I look the last post from them was for a pair for $999 for a 04-06 full chasing. https://www.instagram.com/centralpinesam/?hl=en
