I have run the Michelin Premiers through some serious rainstorms at high speed with excellent handling, braking and absolutely no hint of hydroplaning. They seem to be wearing pretty well, they are super quiet, and would get another set just based on outstanding wet handling performance.

How about the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum or the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1? Tirerack has screaming deals on them with rebates and I was thinking of the Coopers .....

Conti's decent from my experience, Don't expect em to last real long. Price seems appropriate, they hold a balance well keep em aligned you will be fine.

What he said... I live in Central Florida. Very quiet at 85-90 MPH, very confident in heavy rain. One look at the tread pattern will testify to that.
