What type(s) of oil for the transmission in a 2003

I have a 2003 LS that the oil needs to be changed; I am wondering if I should only use the Toyota Type 4 or is there another that is compatible? The Valvoline Synthetic says it's compatible, yet I am cautious.

My understanding was that prior to 2004 (where it became Toyota WS), it was Toyota Type T-IV...I'd rather use the genuine stuff to be sure...

Did the engineers at Valvoline design your Aisin transmission? NO
I'm sure the Valvoline ATF is a fine product for many applications.
Just not the LS. Use Type IV and only Type IV.
