Exclamation 05 430 vsc abs & trac off

Hi all. I have a 2005 LS430 with just 92k miles and yesterday we went to the flea market. When we pulled in, there was a quick vibration, I thought he ran some rocks over, but in hindsight, I think maybe he hit the brake harder than he should and it slit on the dirt.... well when we went to leave, all of a sudden it says Check System, Check VSC ABS TRAC OFF... didnsome reading and evert thread I saw went in a different direction...gas cap, dirt on sensor, emergency brake, computer.... some tthe mes it comes on when started, other times it waits a block or two...
took it to Autozone and it doesn't throw any codes. Whats more, this morning, the ABS light didn't come on at all...just the other two.

More info, I have since driven it myself..
the shake that occurs on occasion is when the brake is pressed...the brake pedal itself seems to shake. I'm worried something is loose n the braking system. Since i didn't get the wheel lock key with the car, I need to have the locks removed to get in there and see. God I hope it's nothing serious

Hopefully the vibration is simply warped brake rotors.

Had the same issue and front rotors solved the problem. I bought back rotors too but I have not out then on yet. Maybe I'll just wait till the old ones were out.

I don't think it is warped rotors...it only happened a few times, warped rotors would shake almost every time I believe. Also, it feels like something is loose.
after the doctor, i will talk to my mechanic.

I don't know if the LS is the same but my daughter has an 03 RX that did the same exact thing you describe. Very intermittent. I tried for several months to replicate what she told me was happening. It turned out to be the sensor ring on a rear axle the the ABS sensor senses was cracked. It's been fixed for a year now, all is good!

The front of my rotor was smooth but once I took them off the back side on the driver's side rotor had lots of grooves and the bottom of the back brake pad was wearing unevenly.

Well I took it to two different shops, one supposedly specializing in Lexus and nobody can find the problem but today there was a slight grind when backing up with the wheel turned so I'm gonna have a gander at the brakes..I guess you never know...it would be funny if it's because the pads or rotors and the mechanics didn't think about it...nobody's made a dime off me yet except the guy who sold me the car....wonder if it's because his mechanics couldn't find the issue?
