Default What can I do? WOULD COILOVERS HELP.?

Fender tearing into the tire

Sooooo....my tires are getting beat by the fender....I have 20 inch stag rims and I have spring boosters as well as spacers on the car. Would coilovers help remedy the fender/tire scrubbing when going over uneven roads?? I think it's due to the spacers and offset.....I know I can take them off the car and put the stocks back on.....many have suggested that but I like the look.....and don't want the $$$ spent to go to waste...any recommendations?

It looks like the spacers you used are too thick. Was size did you use?

Nice rims. What brand are those and where did you get them from???

Thx I got them from this local tire shop...I think the spacers are 1-1.5 inches. This was needed cause without them the rim would hit the caliper cause they are huge lol I actually don't know what the rims are jus thought they would look nice.

I would think the tire shop is negligent in fitting you with new rims and tires that actually rub. Suggest you have them fit with something that actually fits.

Well I still think the spacer is too thick. How much of a gap is there between the rim and caliper now? Can you lookup on your receipt or invoice and tell us the make and model of wheel and the dimensions of the spacer? With that information we can tell what the offset of the rim is and possible if they miscalculated on the spacer thickness...

Wheels and tyres are too agressive, you can try run some more camber, smaller tyre or a smaller spacer

Your tire might be too wide when combined with the spacers. What are the tire sizes?

It seems the offset was not high enough! Take them back and get the right specifications.
