Well about 3ish months ago I installed cutouts and deleted the resonators on my 05 LS430 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-my-ls430.html (the post about it) but just this past week I decided I'd get rid of the 3rd cat too. Most people I've seen install an X-Pipe in its place but the muffler shop I went to suggested I just replace it with a straight pipe, which is what I did. The car sounds a lot meaner now and screams under acceleration. Still sounds bone-stock when the cutouts are closed which I really like.
