Need to remove hub for extended studs?
Was curious if any owners had experience putting on extended studs on their Lexus LS430? Unfortunately my stock 05 LS studs are rusted and stripped by the previous owner's crappy aluminum lugs. Called a few local shops are they are claiming you need to remove the hubs to install extended studs. On previous vehicle I had I just put the car on stands and rotated the hub until I could access them.
All tips are appreciated!

Typically shops will not press on lugs while hub is installed in car - may damage bearings with the sledgehammer hits. You could - in your garage. I haven't had to replace mine yet but there should be a position that allows the stud to back out beside the dust shield without hitting it. No point in putting extended studs in either unless you have a reason?

I haven't done it on my ls but I've done it on a lot of cars. I'm sure you can but since it's extended studs, you might have clearance issues. I always install the studs with an impact
