Default trans dip stick tube removal

Went to go and reseal my transmission pan this morning but I could not get the dip stick tube to detach from it. Cars in the past it just took some gentle wiggling/prying and it popped out.

This wasn't moving at all and i'm scared to put too much pressure on it and damage it or the pan.

Is there a trick to this one for some reason or will it eventually pop out?

this is on a 01

Stop wiggling/prying - you will break it! Refer to the diagram below, the lower section of the dip stick tube is permanently welded to the pan.

My LS430 is leaking from 0 ring. There is a screw that must be removed that has difficult access. My Indy will be replacing it as well as reseal pan. Was told it's a 3 hr job and one engine mount needs to be lifted. I'm waiting until it gets worse.

Engine didn't need to be lifted at all.... all in all took me me about 2 hours. 1 hour of that was removing the old FIPG

I was referring to sealing the oil pan requiring the engine to be lifted to have enough clearance to drop the pan.
