Hi Guys,

I've recently had my 300,000km old LS430 serviced with a timing belt change, since then the radiator has decided to let go, it's leaking from many different areas and I'm not a fixer, I like to replace and replace with quality parts.
I've had a look around and there are no genuine parts, which is disappointing, but there are plenty of Koyo branded units which are supposed to be great.

Any advice on what brand radiator I should go for and what else to replace whilst I'm there would be helpful and appreciated!
I love the old girl and want her to keep on for at least a half million kms.

Denso from Rock Auto. Radiators are so cheap now, I change them with the timing belt! $70.

wow, they are $600 here in Australia (good quality brands).
$1000 for a Denso, installed, which I'm likely to do as my car is all genuine and standard and I like it that way.

ejthomp is spot-on! You should order from RockAuto (dot com)! The Denso radiators are still about $70 USD. Out of curiosity, I viewed what shipping would be to Mebourne (I just picked a city in Australia), and it's "only" about $170 USD shipping. That would be a total of about $240 USD. Not sure if your $600 was in USD but $600 Australian dollar = ~ $450 USD. Buying from RockAuto is STILL much much cheaper if you purchased then had it shipped down under! G'day mate!

Hey thanks guys, I purchased what I was told was the last genuine Denso from an Australian distributor, for AU$400 (about US$300).
I'm very happy to have a genuine original part in the car.

Thanks for your help! US$70 is cheap, you should be replacing them every 100,000mi at those prices!
