If I just swapped the rear center console/ arm rest would I be able to use the radio functions? Any info would help

 

I really doubt it's that simple. How are you going to power the controls?

 

I would think the whole wiring harness would be different. Especially since UL usually have rear A/c diffuser like device, and memory seats with the button on the doors so I am sure the whole harness is different. I bet it would be cheaper and less work to get a new 430 with UL.

So hear are a couple pics of the car. It's a 2001 with a 04 convertion. Bought it from a old guy

 

I know it doesn't have air suspension and it doesn't have rear shades. The rear passenger seat looks like it reclines. Don't know how much options are useful. Haven't had time to play with the car having 3 kids and no time lol

 

I apologize I guess I was confused by your post. I thought you didn't have the UL package and wanted to swap out your console so you could have it. I think that requires a new harness if I remember correctly? However the pics you posted, It looks like you already have the Ultra luxury package or someone did all the swapping out already which takes a huge part of the work out of the whole thing. If you can't use the rear controls they might be locked if they are hooked up? You would have to push down and hold the mode button on rear console to unlock them. Worth a shot who knows maybe the guy did hook them up?

 

Thanks for the help will do. Im not wirried about the suspension at all. Going coilovers anyway. The kids take up the back also so they controls wouldn't be used almost at all. Being covered with booster seats and a baby car seat lol.
