I added LS460 wheels on the LS430. What do you think?
I know the tires look a little bulky, I am still debating whether to keep the wheels on and get 255/40/19 tires or put back the original wheels. They were a headache adding these on but they look nice.
Also, has anyone have any problems using this forum on their phone or tablet? I can use the search function unless I'm using the computer.
My honest opinion is that the wheels and tires look too big for the car. For me there is a perfect balance between all components of any car to make it look good as well as elegant. And these specific wheels and tires cross that balance to where the wheels somewhat overwhelm the rest of the car. JMHO, others folks might love the look, all depends on the look you are going for. I'd also be concerned about how much unsprung weight (if any) you are adding to the LS430. Adding unsprung weight degrades both braking and suspension/handling performance.

I too as well believe the wheels look too big for the car. I think it would look alot better if I get 255/40/19 tires.
I agree, the wheels look a little out of scale. I saw a really bad accident one time due to wheel adapters. People died. When I was racing, wheel adapters were a very big no no. Spacers with really good studs are one thing, but I'd never use adapters.
Also, depends on how much you trust the Chinese. They are the ones who make them.
The correct way is to re-drill the hubs and calipers or change everything over. Maybe cheaper to buy new wheels of the correct fitment.
The look is nice but have to agree about not going to wheels that require adapters. There should be plenty of similar choices that offer the proper bolt pattern....
Our '01 came with 17" as an option and the ride is so nice not sure if the next set will be 18s or not.
Not terrible, but just a little too much. I typically like OEM wheels on a car, but OEM wheel from a different generation on a car has thrown off my automotive moral compass. Kinda like the first time I saw Ashley Graham in a two piece. I liked a lot about it, but I wasn't sure how much I wanted to admit that to myself.
