Default 06 Trunk fuse?

The switch inside my car for the trunk release doesn't appear to be working. The smartkey button as well as the button on the key itself will open the trunk. Ideas?

Ironically I am having a similar problem with my trunk. THe button on the back just stopped working. Even if I have the key in my pocket or in the car when you hold the button for about 3 seconds it would open the trunk. The switch inside under the dash still works and will the smart key button. If there a fuse or something?

It was the valet trunk lockout. Inserted my key into the button and it popped out. I'm an idiot.

You think your an idiot, I've had my car since 2005 and had no idea about the "trunk lockout" and I'm supposed to be mechanically inclined. I was going to take the dash apart when a bit of common sense prevailed. Wow.

Wow is right... Good catch.. Similar thing when I had my RX300. I thought the seat memory didn't work for about 2 years, until I read and re-read the manual on programming the seat memory buttons, after which I still didn't get it.. Finally did figure it out, though. I even spent money on a new seat ECU thinking it was bad.. And I AM a mechanic!!
