Default Subtle 04-06 grill mod

I was bored the other day and decided to play around with Plastidip. I know there is a glossifier I could have used but so far I am digging the all black center section. Only LS owners would probably notice... and when I say LS owners I mean all 150 of us on the forums haha.

I like this since I have a black sport model so it is fitting in my opinion. YMMV. First image is all black and then second image has the all black.

Looks good, I like it. I'm dipping my GS trim and badges next week with my sprayer. The most important thing for the spray cans is to have them heated up in warm water. Alot of the bad results people get are related to application and using cans that are too cold which is why they get texture. You can achieve a completely smooth result with plastidip.

Gives it a refreshing look. I'd love to know if there's a 'chrome' color that's actually similar to the shiney and reflective look of chrome?

What do you mean when you said "first image is all black" and "second image has the all black"??? Are they different cars? The 2nd image appears like a more true and deeper black.

How difficult was it to take the grill off? About how long did it take you to do all this then reassemble it?

Difference with the two images are with white balance.

I did not take the grill off, I popped the hood and masked it with painters tape and newspaper.

Looks similar to what I did. I was going for the black pearl look.
