Gorgeous car. I love the new GS and the interior. Only thing I wouldn't like is the car payment lol.

Did you have any pics of your old LS430? What made you decide to finally trade it in?

I looked at the GS over the summer but never drove or rode in one until last week when I had my LS serviced. I was given a GS overnight and fell in love with it. Because I was able to get such a great deal, I decided to pull the trigger. If I can find some LS pics, I'll post them.

Great decision IMO. I'm good friends with my service advisor and she hooked me up with a 17' GS last time I got an oil change as well and it was one of the best drives i've had in a loaner. It's sad that it took that long for Lexus to make a GS that was comparable to the 04-06 LS when it comes to the comfort. I've had a hard time looking at newer cars because I just can't find one that drives as smooth as the LS, but that 17 GS sold me.

Now to wait for it to depreciate. LOL

What did you have in mind, 48k? That should happen roughly Dec. 2025.

Well.... Vehicles lose 20-25% of value within 3-4 years, haha. By 2019 they'll be 35k used.

It does amaze me that my LS depreciated 48k...and if I had bought a 2006 A8 instead, that depreciated 63k.....unreal....I think the Lexus presents a better value when 10 y.o. imho, and it depreciated less %-wise....
