Default 3rd owner 1 week

Does this indicate a return / joyride?

No it does not. Just dealer taking title ownership.

I was thinking that if that were to be the case, there can be no single owner cars, everything outside of private party would be doubled...if this is a 2 owner car then it's a steal @ $17.9k

I would agree. Wow. I thought I found a low mileage garage queen when I bought my 2005. I don't see any photos of it on the Lexus of Cherry Hill website though. Coincidently, my 2005 was sold new at Lexus of Cherry Hill, and shortly after the owner moved to Dallas TX.

Tool kit missing? Hahahahahahahahaha so predictable. Guess with 4 owners it's bound to wind up on eBay.......my dealer took a 61k car one owner and asked 22k. This seems low at $17.9

edit: imho the price is low--would I have been willing to pay $3,200 more, to take 44k off the odometer? You bet. But something doesn't seem right about this car, with 4 owners....and I tell myself mine was in FLA for 8 yrs., should be a plus. Looks nice though. My car's twin!

No - it's only had 2 actual owners. Somehow Carfax is registering the dealer taking title ownership as an actual ownership change. Normally that should not happen but it is.

This is definitely a cherry car.

imho it had 4 owners, the carfax lists the title numbers issued by NJ DMV. Car dealers do not title vehicles, they transfer the title. I have purchased one new car (I always forget about this one) where I applied for the title myself. Therefore, the dealership handed me a MSO from Porsche Cars North America. That was the only time I have ever seen/handled a MSO. If you insist on handling the titling on a used car yourself, the dealer is going to hand you the title from the previous owner, not a title showing them as the owner. Again, I could be wrong, but things are different on this one. It wasn't even sold at 0 miles like most......I'd be curious to hear from the person who buys it, how it goes.

edit there were 5 mentions of the title in the carfax, carfax only counted a new owner, when there was a new owner, so one wasn't counted. strange.
